It really is that time of year when the TV turns into a bit of a dead zone with repeats of sitcoms that weren’t that good in the first place.

So I’ve made a list of some of my all time favourite movies and tried to source some handmade inspiration from those films … I’m sure Margaret and David do the same thing all the time!

1. I loved De Niro in the Deer Hunter and this creative piece of nursery art from Little Kiwi’s Nest reminds me of that film.
2. Even though Mel’s accent was a bit dodgy in Braveheat – still a great film and a fantastic tartan t-shirt from Rock Your Baby.
3. Cant go past Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Carribean – and what a fantastic pirate suit from Baby Bird!
4.  Yep, you guessed it – the horse’s head from the Godfather and a gorgeous hobby horse from Calamity Bolt!
