While I seem to be still lamenting my recent birthday, Lollipop Baby are shouting about their first birthday from the roof tops! And fortunately for us, we are the lucky recipients of their beautiful birthday presents – just like these ones that I just opened!

It is only a year ago that Lollipop Baby label launched with its tongue-in-cheek pop-culture references & bright, cheery onesie & T-shirt designs for babies from three to 18 months old.

This year, Linda, the WAHM behind Lollipop Baby has expanded her collection with a range of new personalised designs for garments and brand spanking new nursery art prints.  Linda is also expanding her family, with bubs number 2 on the way!

I have long covetted the gorgeous personalised shirts and onesies Lollipop Baby offer and now am seriously drooling at the gorgeous Babushka outfits (also available in wall art) that are too sweet for words!

So I highly recommend you swing past Lollipop Baby say Happy Birthday and Congratulations to them and check out Linda’s new goodies that are playful, unique and have real personality.

I must confess to making my bubba a bit of a clothes horse. Today he is wearing a beautiful chocolate bamboo t-shirt and some funky animal print pants and is looking suitably cool – as a Handmade Kids bubba should always look!  (I’m wearing comfy pants and a daggy old t-shirt – but that is how us mum’s roll huh?).

I’ve been a bit concerned about his first Christmas outfit but now my fears have been put to rest!

I’m sure I don’t need to tell you how great Lollipop Baby’s store is, but I will anyway!  It has all our little fashionistas need for the day when the fat man in the red suit ventures down our chimney!

Lollipop Baby offers baby t-shirts and onesies with quirky and personalised/custom designs and a gorgeous range of nursery wall art prints. And now Linda from Lollipop Baby has our Christmas butt covered with divine tops and onesies.  Feast your eyes on these delectable roasted chestnuts:

And now we are left to bathe in egg nog and paddle in plum puds, safe in the knowledge that our Christmas Clothes Crisis is over … for bubbakins of course!  (Orders close 5 December so get your elf into action!)  Thanks Lollipop Baby!

    Babies! Babies! Babies!

October is nearly here and that means that two new babies will enter our extended family – one being my good friend Mrs Z (her first) and the other my sister-in-law (her fifth!!).

Whether it be first baby or tenth baby, newborn presents are something that I love buying and I’ve been known to horde things in my cupboard for quite some time (especially if it is a bargain and cant be left there for that price!).  And isn’t it so nice when you are an exhausted, hormonal, freaked out, sore boobied mum to receive presents for your new bubba that are so personal and so exquisite it almost makes you sob like you have those day three blues all over again!

Here are a few that could quite possibly bring a tear to your eye!

    Personalised stuff – Language Warning!

When my friend and I were in our ‘party-time 20’s’, we had a plan to marry brothers who lived in a nearby town, and down the track have babies at the same time and name them “Kenny-Dwayne” and “Kenny-Wayne”. (Un)fortunately it didn’t pan out – I don’t think those guys ever really gave us the time of day, and in reality those names were just too Country & Western – even for us country girls.

But as we now know, names ranging from Shithead (pronounced “Shaa-theed” – a true story – I’ll tell ya one day!) to Fixieland Bunnings Warehouse Day-Night are now almost commonplace – and you can easily find some clever clogs to make something for your little one, whatever his or her name may be!

    1. I’m into kid’s names being on their doors! It has to be at kiddy height and it has to be bright and funky – just like these ones from Mooza Designs. Love it!

    2. These gorgeous shirts from Lollipop Baby are a lasting memory of your bubba’s first birthday.

    3. Decorating a nursery just got a damn sight easier with this heavenly five piece set from Lulu Creative! I’m definitely drooling over this!
