from leading eco designer, Rachel Bending.
Rachels work focuses on sustainability in design. It started with Bird Textiles, heralded by
Time Magazine in 2007 as ‘one to watch’, Bird Textiles range of organic fabrics, homewares,
fashion and gifts is available from retailers around Australia, and through a comprehensive
e-commerce site to a global marketplace. Widely recognised for its environmental
consciousness, Bird Textiles is regarded as one of Australia’s premier sustainable design
brands, a pioneer in a new era of consumerism.

Little Bird, Little Bird, Rachel’s new label, continues this brand ethos. Birds’ collection of
exquisitely designed organic fabrics are at the core of the brand.

Fabrics are designed at the Bird studio, and hand printed using water based dyes. A range of playful, timeless
classic childrens garments have been developed to compliment the fabrics. Garments are
designed & handmade using solar power, in the Byron Bay hinterland, NSW, Australia.
