Chunky Chooky is the home of the above little characters. With some pretty funky names such as Valentina Bavoorio and Agatha Von Vanderbeetle, who can resist?
Each character comes with it’s own unique story about it’s life and one thing I really liked was to discover that they are made from recycled fabric from her neighbour Ian who is a furniture upholsterer. So not only are they fabulously recycled, but they could have also been furniture in another life! How cool is that?
Recently I came across the studio of Alicia Paulson and had another one of my jaw dropping moments. It is gorgeous. It makes me want to; rob a bank, kick my kids out and knock some walls out to create a studio and I don’t even craft. I think I would just sit in there and stare at all the lovely things all day long.
