Little girls (and some boys) have little dolls and those little dolls need dresses of course.
As a child I was lucky enough to have a mum who could sew and made all our dolls clothes. We had barbie outfits, cabbage patch outfits and more. At the time I never thought much of it (except what to instruct her to make next), however looking back all I can say is how fiddly.
But then if you can take a pattern such as this and reproduce items as cute as these – pretty clever in my books.

Today is our first day of wintery weather and it is absolutely glorious. We have jumpers on are inside and have just started to enjoy the noise of rain drops on the tin roof.
To match this rainy day I stumbled across this beautiful quilt set from Alphabet Monkey.
These gorgeous quilts are so versatile and are also great to use as a floor blanket , for car trips, cuddling and folds up to a compact size which is easy to pack in your baby bag. Because lets face it, you kind of want to show it off rather than leave it in your nursery. The quilt is 100% cotton and uses an eco friendly cotton/bamboo batting.
Just gorgeous isn’t it?
