I am really into pastel tones at the moment, not that I have any anywhere, but in any event, I do enjoy staring aimlessley at those sweet muted colours and I want my house to look like this.
Sadly I have neither the funds, skill, nor time to create that look, but one can dream that one may win lotto and it will happen. Then I can ring my seriously fabulous interior designer and say “darling I want french provincial this month, come fix it for me sweetie”.

I like it – Pastels: post by Jemma
So, I’m moving house in two weeks and instead of packing up years worth of unfiled paperwork, mobile phone cords (do they breed??), chipped crockery that I’ll use in a mosaic one day and other miscellanea too numerous to count, I’m looking up delicious goodies that I think I need to have in my new house in order to survive the hideous process of packing, unpacking, repacking and general dismay at furniture removal, almost broken toes and torn muscles!
Anyone want to help?

Handmade Felt Fruit Toys
I love fruit and I love felt, and what better combination of the two than my latest review of some funky felt fruit from The Fairy Ring.
The felt fruit salad from The Fairy Ring are life sized and included a variety of fruits. The toys are beautifully soft and are locally handmade using the highest quality materials of 100% pure wool felt. They are also non toxic and eco friendly.
I just love these ones, not only is the wool felt so gorgeous, I think it smells good, just love that pure wool felt smell. As well as being life sized they are very ‘life like’. The banana features little brown marks just like a real banana would and it is those little touches that make these so wonderful.
Valentine’s Day is not just about huge overstuffed teddies with cutesy sayings on them such as “I wub you berry much”, it is really about one main thing….. CHOCOLATE.
Surely it is an excuse to overindulge in mountains of the stuff, whether they be piles of sweet little red foil covered hearts, or the worlds largest box of gooey centres.
Here are a few handmade treats to enjoy this Valentines Day
