Hush now bubba … it’s time to go to sleep. Please!

Just saying

Pacing around the nursery, child at your chest, thinking that maybe you should have got a puppy instead!  You’ve tried EVERYTHING … here are a few more things to try!

1. Andrew Daddo has written this kids book “Good Night, Me”

2. ErgoPouch sleeping bags. Natural fibres for a good 12 hours sleep (!).

3. “Ssh Baby Sleeping” door plaque – keeps unwanted visitors away – if they know what is good for them!

4. Surely a Mr Bunny softie will get bubba to sleep! Gorgeous plush toy by LittleandBigK.

Good luck and happy sleeping! Let me know if it works…

Meet our Sponsor: Ollie Rose

Featured

Recently I spent five minutes with Kobie from Ollie Rose and here is what she had to say:

What inspired you to start your business?

Wanting to find clothing that not every  other little girl in playgroup was wearing and I also have an obsession with beautiful fabrics.

What was your first sale?

A giraffe rattle.   My original and still best selling item was right there from the beginning.

Where did your business name come from?

Named after my late grandmother Olive Rose and it just sounded cute and right and I love that it makes me think of her often.

Where does most of your creating take place?  Show us.

I am pretty sure my husband would say ALL OVER the house! And he would be pretty much right. I have a dedicated room in the house where I do a lot of the work from but the actual sewing is done on my trusty desk on wheels that gets wheeled everywhere around the house so I can keep working and be out with the family, in front of the tv or watching my daughter play outdoors.

What is your favourite item that you make? Show and tell

Gift sets. I love matching up fabrics to come up with a practical but oh so pretty gift set combination that I just know new parents would love.

What do you hope to achieve in 2009?

Just keep growing Ollie Rose.  A few more hours in each day would be nice! Would love to be able to take on a few more wholesale customers so hopefully those few more hours a day become a reality. Oh and get to the bottom of one of the 3 work in progress baskets!

What was the last handcrafted  item you brought?

Pretty wire and bead keychain from Market stall for the post box key.

What item couldnt you live without?

My daily must have is Brownes Iced Coffee.  Can’t live without it!

Ollie Rose will be re-stocking their store in August with lots of new goodies, so make sure you are signed up to the newsletter to find out more OLLIE ROSE NEWSLETTER HERE.
