My all time favourite mothers day gift is a beautiful artwork from my daughter where she has painted lots of hearts and kisses in the air and then placed a photo of her on it to look like she is blowing them to me. Beautiful

Best gift i think i made my mum was a scarf about 30cm long because and anout 3cm wide. She still wore it and then she turned it into a mug warmer for when she went camping. Still going now

My kids baked a Mother’s Day cake all by themselves one year, complete with a mind boggling amount of sprinkles scattered over the very colourful icing!
And they also kindly left a trail of sprinkles, icing sugar and food dye splatters all over the kitchen in their attempts to bake and clean up. ?

I will always remember buying my Mum a necklace for Mother’s Day that I gave to her 2 weeks early because I was so excited and couldn’t wait til the actual day. It turned her neck green because it wasn’t real silver, but she wore it anyway. I used to look back on that and think ‘why did she still wear it?’. Now I have a 5 week old daughter and it all makes sense! The things you do for love!

The best homemade gift ive recieved was a notebook/photo album handmade by my son when he was 10 yrs old 6 years ago. He made it with newspaper as we didnt have plain white paper like he saw it being made with by Tara on Better Homes and Gardens show. I still have it! I was so amazed when he gave it to me as a mother’s day gift. I love it!

My husband drew me 7 different cards for my birthday that were tickets to activities/gifts so that I got treats for my entire birthday week. It was the best!

The best handmade gift I have ever made my mum was a 31-page scrapbook. Each page had a photo of us every year she has been my mum. The last page, page 31, was an ultrasound photo of my first baby, her first grandchild! In the gift, I also included a blank scrapbook so she could fill the pages for the years to come as a grandma! This was how I announced my pregnancy to her!
