Handmade Santa Sack Round up

Christmas/ Shopping/ Shopping Guide/ Themed guide

Round up time- which Santa Sack to get?

The count down to Christmas is on! And the list of things to do is slowly growing. I am really hoping to be super organised in advance this year- I hate that last minute frantic rush around the shops. So this week I’m ticking ‘Santa Sacks’ for the kids off my list. The hardest part will be choosing which one to purchase! I love them all – should I go with traditional green & red, my staple favourite monochrome or the very on-trend gold highlights??

Which one is your favourite? Do you use a santa sack / bag for your kiddies on Christmas morning?

Movie Night with Ice Age Collision Course

Just saying/ Sponsored

Ice Age Collision Course is out now on Digital HD and available on Blu-ray & DVD October 26.

We had a family movie night last weekend. It was the perfect weekend for it, it was overcast and even a little cool for a spring evening in Queensland. So we nestled in with some yummy comfort food, comfy pillows and the latest Ice Age movie! Don’t know about you but we are big Ice Age fans at our house – they feature some great actors voices don’t you think? I’m a sucker for Denis Leary as Diego.

Have you seen Ice Age Collision Course yet? It’s out now on iTunes and available on DVD in just a couple of days (October 26th). The movie brings together all the favourites from the previous movies – including the quirky adventurer Buck, crazy Granny Sloth and a new character Julian (voiced by Adam DeVine).

Together with some all time favourite craft supplies like craft sticks (or otherwise know as paddle pop, icecream or popsicle sticks) and paint we crafted up some very spooky (and fun) Spider Webs!

Let’s Make – Chocolate Halloween Bat Snacks

We had lots of fun creating this little project. It’s a fun snack for halloween, even if you don’t throw a party or go trick or treating. It’s super easy too – you really only need 4 ingredients to whip up these spooky bats and a few bits & pieces from the kitchen.
